For films that have done extremely well during the 90s, right now, some directors and producers have thought about doing sequels with the same heroes. While the concept of the film is taken and made with a new cast, it might work like Aashiqui 2 and other movies, but extending the story of the vintage films is not working out well. At this moment, one decision taken by Superstar Rajnikanth is exciting his fans.

After the failure of Indian 2 at the box office, which has come out from Kamal Haasan and Shankar as the sequel to their 1996 blockbuster ‘Bharateeyudu’, many other star heroes have dropped plans to do sequels. However, Rajnikanth continued with the writing team of KS Ravikumar to work on the writing of the Narasimha (Padayappa in Tamil) sequel. Finally, recently, the actor heard the narration of the final draft, and felt that nothing matched the original’s charm and pacing.

Reports are coming out that Rajnikanth has dropped the plans of making a sequel to Narasimha and that’s now exciting fans. Because they too don’t want the hero to make a sequel to the film, and spoil it unnecessarily. Also, with such an age-gap from 1999 to 2026, no matter what type of ‘gimmick’ they do to fit the hero into the story now, things wouldn’t work out well.

Also, the Narasimha movie is just a family drama with lots of elevations and emotions, and such content is not exciting the audience anymore unless it’s done by younger heroes. So it's better to stay away from Narasimha!
