By: Shanaz B Syed | 27 Nov 2025 12:35 PM ISTAfter Blockboster Baby nearly hit 100 crores and the smaller film Court crossed 50 crores, it looks like another small movie is quietly making waves. Raju Weds Rambai opened with very little hype, but word of mouth kicked in fast. This rural love story, full of emotions and village charm, is connecting with audiences and doing surprisingly well at the box office.
In just five days, Raju Weds Rambai pulled in about ₹8.45 crores net in India. Day one wasn’t too shabby either, ₹1.40 crores right off the bat. Since the third day, the movie has picked up, and there has been no looking back since then.
To thank the audience, the producers came up with a sweet idea. With the tagline “Our Rambhai Katha… For Every Woman,” they announced that women can watch the movie for free at selected theaters in Andhra and seeded areas. The move is a way to celebrate the spirit of Rambhayi, the female lead, whose courage and resilience are central to the story. The free screenings are available today only, giving fans a special treat.
The list of theaters includes big names like Sri Kanya and Jagadamba in Visakhapatnam, Krishna in Vijayanagaram, Surya Mahal in Srikakulam, Padma Priya Complex in Kakinada, Ambika Complex in Eluru, Swarna Complex in Vijayawada, and many more across the state. It’s a one-day chance for women to enjoy the movie, cheer for Rambhayi, and soak in the emotional story without spending a dime.
