Rakul Preet Singh: "I Made Jackky Bhagnani Propose!"

Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani's recent wedding in Goa was a culmination of a love story that took an interesting turn. While many couples follow a traditional path to the altar, Rakul wasn't afraid to take charge. In a recent interview, the actress revealed she playfully "forced" Jackky to propose before they tied the knot.

Despite the wedding date already set and plans underway, Jackky hadn't gotten down on one knee. Rakul, wanting a special proposal story, made her feelings clear. "I said 'I need a story,'" she stated, jokingly adding, "I told him, you have to propose... you have 2-3 months left. No matter how you do it, you figure it out."

The wait paid off! Jackky surprised Rakul with a proposal during their joint bachelor's party last December. The intimate celebration, attended by around 25 close friends including actresses Pragya Jaiswal and Manchu Lakshmi, became the setting for a heartwarming proposal. "Honestly, I had completely forgotten," Rakul admitted, "but he actually managed to surprise me, I had no idea."

Rakul and Jackky tied the knot on February 21, 2024, in a beautiful ceremony in Goa. Now, both are back to work. Rakul is busy filming the remake of 'Meri Patni Ka' and 'Indian 2,' while Jackky is looking to bounce back from his last film's performance. He has two upcoming projects, 'Suryaputra Mahavir Karna' and 'Mission Lion,' which fans are eagerly anticipating.
