I Resonate With This Character In My Real Life: Rakul Preet

Gorgeous lady Rakul Preet Singh is all set to arrive in theatres with 'Indian 2' on 12th July. This is one of the biggest projects down South and Anirudh's songs have generated a good buzz on the movie. The teaser and posters are also helping a lot in the promotions. The actors are yet to talk about the film and their respective characters but the 'Dhruva' actress is the first to reveal how her role is going to be.

Speaking to the media, she stated, “It is surely one of the most special films of my career. Not just for the people that I am working with but also because of my character. I play a headstrong, confident girl who knows exactly what she wants. And somewhere, I resonate completely with this character in my real life. It's too early to disclose more, but yes, it's been a delight to work with Shankar sir, pulling off this character by picking up from the nuances he shared with me.”

'Indian 2' is written and directed by Shankar. Lyca Productions bankrolled this film. Siddharth, SJ Suryah, Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet Singh, Bobby Simha, Vivek, Priya Bhavani Shankar, and others play key roles.

Coming to Rakul, her last Telugu film was 'Konda Polam' and she is soon to be seen in Ajay Devgn's 'De De Pyaar De 2'. She was the heroine in the first part as well. As we know, she got married to Jackky Bhagnani earlier this year.
