Rakul To Play A Negative Role In 'Ramayan'?

Ravishing beauty Rakul Preet Singh is a popular name to everyone in Tollywood. The casting is being done right now and Ranbir Kapoor is locked as lord Ram while we are yet to get a confirmation regarding Sai Pallavi playing the role of Sita. Sunny Deol will be seen as Hanuman while Yash is expected to play Ravanasura's role. Lara Dutta will be seen as Kaikeyi while Vibishan will be portrayed by Vijay Sethupathi.

Reports suggest that Rakul might be doing Surpanaka's role. For those who don't know mythology, she is Ravana's sister. She has been portrayed like a devil in many movies and serials but some books say that she is very beautiful which is why Lakshman cut her nose and ears. There is a chance that Rakul might accept this role but we need to wait for some more time. Sources say that the team of 'Ramayan' will be announcing the final details regarding the movie's cast through a press meet soon.
