Peddi: How Many More Cricket-Steps Are There?

Even before the song, Chikri came out and went on to become a chartbuster, Ram Charan's Peddi has attracted the attention of youths and GenZ crowds with the teaser itself. Because the teaser has this special cricket shot where Ram Charan has used a new batting technique, of course, bro invented in the villages, to enthral the audience. That brings us to the other cricketing shot that was shown in the end of Rai Rai Raa Raa song other day.

Ram Charan’s cricket shot of hitting the bat’s handle on the floor and then hitting the ball has gone viral. In the second song Rai Rai Raa Raa, they have now shown another new cricket step, where Charan flips the bat in the air, horizontally spinning it, and hits his hands on the ground, making them dusty for grip, and then holds the bat again. How many more such new cricketing steps are there inside?

Apparently, director Buchi Babu Sana is carving something rustic set in a rural backdrop, at the same time, something that would attract the Gen G crowds as well. They say that there are a couple more such cricketing shots inside Peddi, and they would be a treat to watch on the Silver screen. Featuring Janhvi Kapoor as the leading Lady and music composed by AR Rahman, Peddi is hitting Cinemas on April 30, 2026.
