The actor reportedly suffered a minor eye injury during the filming of an intense action sequence. According to sources close to the team, the injury is not serious, and doctors have advised him to take rest for two days. Fans can stay relaxed as there is no major concern regarding his health.
Meanwhile, the shoot of Peddi is moving forward as planned. A key schedule is set to begin at Gachibowli Indoor Stadium from Tuesday. This important sequence will be filmed over four days. Despite some rumors about delays, the makers are confident that the film will hit theatres on April 30, 2026, as scheduled.
Adding more excitement to the project, popular actress Mrunal Thakur is likely to join the film. She became widely loved for her performances in films like Sita Ramam and Hi Nanna. Reports suggest that she has been approached for a special song in Peddi. There is also a chance that she may appear in a cameo role alongside Ram Charan. While she has shown interest, the team is waiting for her final confirmation.
The film is directed by Buchi Babu Sana and promises to be a powerful rustic action drama. It also features Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead and Kannada star Shiva Rajkumar in an important role. Music is composed by the legendary A. R. Rahman, with production handled by Venkata Satish Kilaru.
On the other hand, Mrunal Thakur is also preparing for her next release, Dacoit: A Love Story, starring alongside Adivi Sesh. Directed by Shaneil Deo, the film is set to release on April 10, 2026.
