Mega Power Star Ram Charan recently shared some interesting thoughts about Indian cinema, his successful career, and the challenges he faced while growing up in a family of film legends.

Speaking about the growing reach of Indian movies, Ram Charan said, "A global market has opened for Indian films. OTT platforms helped RRR in many ways. The film received worldwide recognition and even reached the Oscars. Audiences are still coming to theatres and supporting movies. Even today, cinema is the cheapest form of entertainment. It would be even better if popcorn prices were reduced," he said with a smile.

The actor also spoke about the pressure of belonging to a family that includes stars like Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan. When asked how he managed to come out of their shadows and create his own identity, Ram Charan shared a personal memory from his childhood.

He said, "When I was young, many directors and producers used to come home and tell me that I should become greater than my father. Those words made my shoulders feel heavy. There was always an expectation that I had to achieve something big."

However, Ram Charan revealed that he learned to deal with such pressure in a simple way. "My biggest positive quality is that I ignore many things. If people say ignorance is bliss, I am a classic example of that," he said.

The actor also praised his father, Megastar Chiranjeevi, for maintaining a healthy balance between family life and cinema. Ram Charan said that although films were a major part of their lives, his father always kept the movie environment professional and never brought work-related pressure into the home.

Currently, Ram Charan is enjoying the blockbuster success of Peddi, directed by Buchi Babu Sana. The sports action drama has received a tremendous response from audiences and has emerged as one of the biggest hits of his career. The film stars Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead, while Jagapathi Babu, Shiva Rajkumar, and Divyenndu Sharma play key roles. Music for the film has been composed by Oscar-winning composer A.R. Rahman.

According to trade reports, Peddi has already crossed the ₹400 crore mark worldwide. To celebrate the film's success, the makers are organizing a grand blockbuster event in Hyderabad. Fans are eagerly waiting to see Ram Charan and the entire team at the special celebration.
