Ram Charan's Peddi Song Postponed, Fans Losing Patience Fast
After Game Changer didn’t land well, Peddi became the film everyone pinned their hopes on.
By: Shanaz B Syed | 15 Oct 2025 6:11 PM ISTIt’s funny how one song can keep an entire fanbase restless. For Ram Charan’s Peddi, that one song has turned into a waiting game that’s testing everyone’s nerves. It was supposed to drop during Dussehra, then maybe Diwali, but nothing happened. Now all eyes are on A. R. Rahman, who seems too caught up with his concert prep to spare time for this track.
After Game Changer didn’t land well, Peddi became the film everyone pinned their hopes on. Buchi Babu Sana, who’s directing it, is taking each step like it’s glass, careful, measured, no rush. Fans, though, are starting to lose their chill. Every small update, poster, or rumour gets them hyped again, but without that song, the buzz feels stuck halfway. Some are even joking that the single might drop next summer at this rate.
Rahman’s concert in Hyderabad next month seems to be the big focus for now. Word is, the team wants to launch the song during that event, which could actually work out if done right. A grand live reveal, thousands of people, and that Rahman energy, it’d make the song hit harder. But again, that depends on when he decides to roll with it.
So for now, fans wait. Maybe impatiently, maybe with a bit of frustration, but they’re still hanging on. A film like Peddi, with Charan’s comeback energy, Rahman’s sound, and Buchi Babu’s storytelling, doesn’t come often. It just needs that one spark, that one song, to get things moving again.
