Not Janhvi Kapoor, But This Kapoor Is Peddi's First Choice

One of the biggest topics coming up right now from “Peddi” is the absence of Janhvi Kapoor from the film's promotions. Even though she happens to be a Bollywood diva, the actress will not be promoting the film aggressively in Hindi circuits as her role in the movie is quite short. Some say that the lack of Janhvi will be a good thing, because all these days the films that are excessively promoted by her haven’t run well at the box office.

A new update is coming from Buchi Babu Sana: the original choice for the heroine of the movie is none other than Kushi Kapoor, Janhvi’s younger sister. The makers have called her for an audition, did a look-test, and nothing worked out. Later, they are said to have gone for Jahvi Kapoor rather than Khushi and other options that they considered for a long time. Had Kushi Kapoor cracked the audition, surely the movie would have given her a much bigger break, as she’s yet to crack the code in Tollywood.

On the other hand, Buchi Babu hasn’t yet clarified if Janhvi Kapoor will take part in the promotions of the movie or not. Whether Janhvi promotes or not, it looks like Peddi has already got enough coverage due to various factors, and if Ram Charan starts speaking more about the movie, surely that will work big time. For now, everyone is gearing up for the May 18th trailer release of the movie in Mumbai.
