As was being discussed already, the likely postponement of Ram Charan’s “Peddi” is likely to affect other small films around it. While the film is now set for April 30th release, as per the official communication that’s being maintained till now, other movies like Dacoit, Swayambhu, and Maa Inti Bangaram are in and around it. However, if Peddi moves out, it will be an advantage for these movies, but if the Charan starrer locks the June 26th date, then many other movies that are eyeing a release around that time will be affected.

Other day, an interesting talk happened regarding the same. Small producers whose films were affected multiple times due to Peddi's postponement are completely angry with these moves of the makers of the Ram Charan starrer. At the birthday party of one such producer, which happened recently, this topic became a big discussion. In the end, they thought of forming a group, which will demand that the Producers Council make sure that any film that locks a date and misses it, should not be given a release date for another six months or so, kind of restrictions. But then, who would rake up this proposal, and who would accept?

In the Telugu industry, most of the time, the producers, distributors and exhibitors are almost the same. Many producers themselves have distribution companies and theatres too. So if they want big movies, which will give them big profits, surely they will allow any number of date changes, because in the end, they are going to profit. No matter how much crying happens from small producers, things will not change.
