‘Peddi’ Stroke Is Harder Than A Sun Stroke

By: Shanaz B Syed | 7 April 2026 3:09 PM ISTThe biggest stroke ever, that is more deadly than the 40-degree temperature that’s going to take over from Tollywood capital Hyderabad in a couple of days, is being given by Ram Charan’s Peddi. That’s why they say, this stroke is going to be harder than a sun stroke. It has already come out that the film is not getting ready to hit cinemas on April 30th as promised, while it missed the March 27th date already.
Though Ram Charan himself clarified that the shooting of “Peddi” is over, except for a single song, somehow, the makers are not rethinking their release date. While music composer AR Rahman needs time to deliver the background score, and the makers need another song from him, the hyped item number, this might be delaying the film. At the same time, they need a good amount of time for promotions too. But that’s all affecting other films now.
Already, Akhil’s Lenin moved out of the place, and they are confused if they should return to their favourite May 1st date, in case if Peddi moves out to June 4th or June ending. At the same time, Nikhil’s Swayambhu and Samantha’s Maa Inti Bangaram are also looking forward to seizing Peddi’s date, but then, if they have to do that, Peddi should confirm their date first. These are all giving a stroke to the makers, distributors and other trade circuits, because a lot of planning is directly linked to Peddi’s date announcement now.
