Some waves don’t need an ocean, they just need A.R. Rahman to show up. That’s the kind of energy in Tollywood right now.

Ram Charan’s Peddi has been quietly building heat for months, and now the buzz just exploded. Word is that the film’s first song might be dropped live at Rahman’s concert in Ramoji Film City on November 8. Not your regular song launch, this one’s shaping up to be an event.
Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, Peddi is one of those films everyone’s waiting for with serious curiosity. The shoot’s moving fast under Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings, with Venkata Satish Kilaru producing. Ram Charan is front and centre, joined by Kannada superstar Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, and Divyendra Sharma. If Buchi Babu’s earlier film Uppena was anything to go by, this one’s going to hit hard, full of emotion, music, and soul.
Now, about that song, apparently Rahman’s cooked up something huge. Not just a melody, but a full-blown experience. Choreographer Jani Master is already setting up massive sets for the shoot, with dancers, lights, and visuals that sound straight-up grand. Rathnavelu’s handling the camera, which means you can expect those cinematic shots that make you forget to blink.
Fans are already losing it online, waiting to see if Rahman really drops the track live. If he does, that night’s going to go down in Tollywood history, music, movies, and madness all rolled into one. The Peddi team, meanwhile, seems laser-focused on wrapping up everything in time for its big release on March 27, 2026. The vibe’s clear, this one’s not just another movie; it’s shaping up to be an event.
