In the Nizam region, Peddi has collected more than Rs. 26 crore share within just two days, which is a very impressive achievement.
The movie opened with a massive response on its first day. It collected around Rs. 135 crore gross worldwide, making it one of the biggest openings in Ram Charan’s career. The strong opening was followed by a solid performance on the second day as well.
According to the official update from the makers, Peddi collected Rs. 181.8 crore gross globally in its first two days. The second-day collection is reported to be around Rs. 46 crore gross worldwide. This is considered a strong number because the collection came on a regular working day.
The Telugu states continue to be the biggest strength for the film. Audiences in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are showing great interest in watching the movie in theatres. Positive word of mouth and strong fan support are helping the film maintain steady collections.
The film is also witnessing growth in advance bookings and theatre occupancy for the weekend. Trade experts believe that Peddi could register even bigger numbers over Saturday and Sunday if the current trend continues.
Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, Peddi is a sports action drama that features Ram Charan in a powerful role. Janhvi Kapoor plays the female lead. The film is produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under the Vriddhi Cinemas banner.
