Charan’s Latest Film Launch: Another Twist?

Much before the release of Peddi in the third week of June 2026, when the film Peddi hit cinemas, it was supposed to be the ‘muhurat’ event of Mega hero Ram Charan’s next film. However, the Sukumar directorial was delayed from a launch owing to Ram Charan’s wrist injury and other reasons, but then it was confirmed that the film would be taking off on Dasara eve. However, there is a twist in the tale now.

Reports are coming that the final draft created by Sukumar isn’t convincing everyone, and Ram Charan is also asking for some more changes. Recently, they have narrated the story to Megastar Chiranjeevi also, and there are some concerns expressed regarding the second half of the film. To get the script more refined, it’s coming out that Sukumar is said to have asked for more time, and hence the movie will not go for the first clap on Dasara eve as planned. Though the authenticity of this news cannot be verified, we have to see if #RC17 would get launched and when.

Meanwhile Ram Charan is taking things pretty slow, by having only one film in the pipeline rather than signing multiple big directors and keeping them in the loop,like how Prabhas and Allu Arjun are doing. Hope the star doesn’t waste the stardom that came with “RRR” by doing things slowly.
