Global star Ram Charan right now is like a juggler trying to keep too many balls in the air. He’s deep into shooting Peddi, a sports drama that’s already got fans talking because of its rural cricket backdrop. With the release set for March 27, 2026, everyone’s wondering, how on earth is he going to fit in his next big movie with Sukumar? It’s a lot to handle, and honestly, fans are biting their nails a little.

After the massive hit Rangasthalam, Charan is teaming up again with Sukumar. The buzz is that their new project, produced by Naveen Erneni and Y. Ravi Shankar under Mythri Movie Makers, is moving fast. They’ve been meeting in Dubai, going over the script, tossing ideas back and forth. Sukumar is still there, polishing the screenplay, making sure February next year’s shoot goes without a hitch. Rumors are flying about Kriti Sanon and Samantha possibly joining as the heroine, which only fuels the curiosity.

Meanwhile, Peddi isn’t slowing down. Charan is all in, wrapping up the action-packed scenes, and then, boom, he’s straight into RC17. The producer says pre-production is carefully mapped out, so nothing gets messed up. It’s a tight schedule, but Charan seems determined to keep fans entertained with one project flowing into the next. People are excited because, let’s face it, any film with him and Sukumar after Rangasthalam has high expectations.

Peddi itself is shaping up to be something special. Janhvi Kapoor plays the female lead, joining an ensemble cast that includes Shiva Rajkumar, Divyendu, and Jagapathi Babu. AR Rahman is handling the music, and cinematographer Rathnavelu says half the shooting is done. Charan is trying a new style, dialect, and performance vibe, so it won’t feel like a repeat of his earlier roles. After Game Changer, audiences are eager to see him switch gears again, and with the way things are going, it looks like he’s not planning to disappoint.
