There’s No Woman Behind These Successful Men

“Behind every successful man, there’s a woman” is a saying that’s been heard for centuries. However, former star director Ram Gopal Varma is busy claiming that some of the present-day successful men don’t have any women in their lives at all. Sharing the same, he has set Twitter into a quick debate, arguments and satires over the same.

Apparently, the image shared by RGV reads that the list of single persons includes PM, CM, Tata, Bata, Kalam, Salman, Rahul, Yogi and even Baba Ramdev. “Behind every successful MAN there’s NO WOMAN (wife)”, states RGV, as he shared this image, and many are actually agreeing with him. However, the old context of that quote is different from the modern world, and this type of comparison only creates unwanted patriarchal debates, but nothing else.

There are those people who have commented on the same image the director shared that the likes of Aamir Khan have married thrice already, and still they are doing good in terms of professionally. Whether there is a woman or not in anyone’s life, working hard and doing their creative best will result in success is what many feel at this moment. Anyway, RGV loves to kick the hornet’s nest and he did that again.
