What Now! RGV Cries Foul On Rajinikanth

There was once a time when Ram Gopal Varma was one of the most celebrated directors in Indian cinema. But he has lost track of proceedings in recent times, and has been mostly surviving with trash comments and below par films.

Coming to the topic now, Varma has made a shockingly poor comment against superstar Rajinikanth, while speaking about the acting attributes of the veteran superstar.

In his latest interview, Ram Gopal Varma stated that Rajinikanth is not a great actor. The controversial Director pointed out that Rajinikanth mostly survive only on slow motion action shorts, and doesn’t necessarily have an acting reputation.

Ram Gopal Varma gave the implication that Rajinikanth is only a commercial subject who can only work on slow motion, action shorts, and cannot necessarily emote certain emotional content. He clearly took a dig at Rajinikanth with this controversial statement.

However, this has quickly resulted in a revolt against Ram Gopal Varma and social media as fans are pointing out Rajinikanth, arguably one of the greatest actors of this generation. One simply doesn’t become become a superstar and gain all the attention in the world like Rajinikanth, unless and until he is a phenomenal actor.

It is true that most of his films are mainly feature in slow motion shots of Rajinikanth in the recent past. Rajini, who could deliver standout performances. His stellar acts in films like Dalapati, Arunacharalam, Narasimha and Baba are testaments of the same.

So now, Ram Gopal Varma passing a random statement against Rajinikanth is nothing but a vague attempt to defame the actor.
