Ram Pothineni usually does one film a year. In 2022, it was the action and romantic movie The Warrior, then under the direction of Boyapati Sreenu, Skanda in 2023, Double iSmart with Puri Jagannath in 2024, and in 2025 he came with Andhra King Taluka. The film is a mix of cult fandom and emotional drama, and while reviews were mostly good, the box office has been a little shaky.
Now the buzz is all about Ram’s paycheck. The rumour going around is that he was paid about ₹2.5 crore, and he also took the Nizam and Guntur distribution rights. From those areas, he reportedly earned another ₹2.5 to ₹3 crore. So in total, he may have taken home around ₹5 crore. There’s no official confirmation, but fans are impressed that he shared the financial load with the producers instead of asking for his full salary upfront.
Another cool thing is that Ram didn’t just act in Andhra King Taluka, he also stepped in as a lyricist and even a playback singer for one of the songs. The track has already picked up good views, and fans are enjoying this new side of him.
