By: Tupaki Desk | 21 Oct 2025 11:01 AM ISTHero Ram Pothineni is currently promoting his upcoming film Andhra King Taluka and he is frequently interacting with the media to provide bits of information. In this context, he made a very interesting revelation about his potential directorial debut.
Ram revealed that he is preparing a story for himself and is intending to direct in the near future. He pointed out that he always wanted a proper story to direct a film on his own and added that it is finally happening now.
He did not reveal the nature or the genre of the story, but confidently revealed that it should be a pretty big theatrical experience to the audience.
Further, it was communicated that this project might be happening in the near future itself, if everything goes as planned.
Then Ram spoke briefly about Charan and the kind of baggage that he carries. “I previously felt it would be far better if I had been in Chiranjeevi Garu son because I would have had a safe launchpad.
Now, after being a part of the industry, I kind of feel bad for Charan for all the expectations that he has to carry. He is largely having to shoulder the massive legacy and build upon it, which is not an easy thing.”
Ram is a very frank guy, and this is again on display as he spoke without any filters about Charan and also the directorial debut that he has been wanting for a long time now.
