The teaser of Ramayana has already created mixed reactions online. While some appreciated the scale, many criticised the VFX and overall visual quality, saying that lots of AI technology was used. Also some accused that the makers have copied ideas from Hollywood scenes to carve out an epic like Ramayana. Now, a new discussion has started around the film’s online promotion.

Within hours of the teaser release, several influencers started posting content praising the film’s concept, visuals and music. This is where things get interesting. Many viewers noticed that these videos sounded very similar, almost like they were following the same talking points. So naturally, the question is simple. Are these reactions genuine, or is there a PR push behind them?

In recent times, influencer marketing has become a major tool for film promotions. We have seen similar strategies during films like War 2 and Adipurush, where online narratives were actively shaped after initial backlash. The difference here is the speed and pattern, which is raising eyebrows. At the same time, some influencers are saying that the film is still under production and the visuals will improve by release. Interestingly, this exact argument is being repeated across multiple videos, which is adding to the suspicion.

On one side, makers do have the right to defend their product and promote it in the way they want. On the other hand, when messaging from influencers looks too uniform, audiences start questioning its authenticity. If this push is being easily decoded by the viewers, surely the organic praise surrounding the film would be severely affected.

Before Diwali 2026, as the film gets released then, we have to see how many more narratives would come up. After releasing Rama glimpse featuring Ranbir Kapoor, the makers are now getting ready to release a special teaser for Goddess Sita and then for Ravana, played by Sai Pallavi and Yash respectively.
