There are already the biggest films made in the world, and the biggest requirement for many such films is just investment. Because of that, huge Visual Effects will be possible, bringing out a world bigger than imagination. But then, some films require big manpower, not just technical brilliance alone. And that’s what the magnum opus “Ramayana” is doing now.

Directed by Dangal movie fame Nitish Tiwari, “Ramayana” teaser has already enthralled the world with its brilliance. While Ranbir Kapoor is playing Lord Rama, Sai Pallavi will be seen as Goddess Sita in the film. That’s not all. This movie requires huge manpower to move mountains, such that the world will see what happened in India thousands of years ago. A talk is that, more than 10,000 people are working on the film starting from actors, technicians, junior artists, to the backend folks like set designers, assistants, VFX teams, and more. This is a scale that was not seen by any other film so far.

That’s what happens when big films are rolled, and that too films that need scale and imagination in a bigger way. Thousands of people get their livelihood from the sets of such films, and one has to be proud that Ramayana is such an epic that it directly feeds such huge numbers. Currently, the film is in both shooting and post-production mode in parallel, as Part 1 of the film has to hit cinemas on November 8, 2026.
