No Confrontations Between Ranbir And Yash In Ramayan? Here’s Why!

As we have reported already the makers of Hindi Ramayan, which will have Ranbir Kapoor and Kannada superstar, Yash in the lead roles have taken a brave decision. This is primarily regarding the decision taken on the confrontation episode between the roles of Prabhu Shri Ram and Demon King Ravan.

Backed by producer leading Bollywood producer Namit Malhotra, Ramayana is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated Indian films of all time. With visionary direction, a world-class VFX team, and a powerful cast including Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram and Yash as Raavan, the film is set to offer a grand, emotionally resonant retelling of the epic.

But in a surprising creative decision, the two stars will reportedly have minimal shared screen time.

According to sources close to the production, this is a deliberate choice rooted in authenticity. “The film follows the original Valmiki Ramayana closely, where Lord Ram and Raavan lead largely parallel lives until their climactic encounter. They exist in separate worlds, their paths only converging after Sita’s abduction and culminating in their fateful battle in Lanka.”

This narrative structure is not just faithful to the epic it’s dramatically powerful, according to the statement from the makers of this Hindu action epic.
