Ramayana New Song: Adipurush Is Better

On the eve of Ganesh Chaturthi, a new song from the upcoming big-budget fantasy film “Ramayana” has come out. The song titled ‘Jai Jai Ram’ is sung by Shreya Ghoshal and Arjit singh, and composed by AR Rahman. Here’s the catch, however.

While the song is out on Ganesh Chaturthi, a festival that’s not even linked to the Ramayana in any way, many music lovers have actually raised another debate. The song somehow is not clicking well with music lovers, and many felt that the songs scored for Prabhas’ Adipurush, including that of Jai Shreeram and Ram Siya Ram, are undoubtedly the best from any Ramayana film that was made so far.

Also, looking at the way the visuals of Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi as Ram and Sita are crafted, some say that Prabhas carried the divinity with more elegance than Ranbir Kapoor, while Kriti Sanon was equally good. But then, many are wondering why Adipurush was badly trolled then, but is getting appreciated now after the songs of “Ramayana” are coming out.

That said, Ramayana needs extraordinary buzz now in case it is hitting cinemas on the eve of Diwali 2026, though a special date is not locked. These songs are not doing the needful for now.
