Whenever a new movie based on the Ramayana is announced, one film always comes into the discussion Adipurush. Prabhas' mythological film was released with huge expectations but failed to impress many viewers. The movie received criticism for its visual effects, character designs, dialogues, and overall presentation. Even today, many people compare every new Ramayana project with Adipurush.

Now, Bollywood has come back with another big Ramayana film. Director Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana, starring Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama, has released its first trailer. Soon after the trailer was released, social media was filled with comparisons between Ramayana and Adipurush.

Many viewers feel that the visuals and VFX in the new Ramayana trailer look much better than Adipurush. They say the graphics appear more realistic and the overall quality looks more polished. At the same time, a few people believe that the visuals could have been even better considering the film's reported massive budget. Some viewers also feel that a few scenes seem to use too much AI.

One of the biggest talking points is the look of Ravana. In Adipurush, Saif Ali Khan's Ravana received heavy criticism, with many saying the character did not match the traditional image from the Ramayana. In the new film, Yash plays Ravana, and many viewers feel his appearance looks more powerful and closer to the epic. However, fans say the final judgment can only be made after the movie releases.

The Pushpaka Vimana has also become a topic of comparison. Many people believe the flying vehicle shown in the Ramayana trailer looks more grand and visually appealing than the one seen in Adipurush.

Another major discussion is about Lord Rama's character. When Prabhas played Raghava in Adipurush, some viewers felt his body language looked too intense. After watching the new trailer, many people have praised Ranbir Kapoor for showing a calm, peaceful, and traditional image of Lord Rama.

The costumes in both films have also been compared. While some outfits look similar, viewers feel the palace scenes in Ramayana appear richer and more detailed.

Although Ramayana has created strong excitement, the memories of Adipurush are still fresh. Because of that, audiences are carefully examining every frame of the trailer. Whether Ramayana can fully win the hearts of viewers will only be known after its release, but one thing is clear—every Ramayana film will continue to be compared with Adipurush.
