Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt have a new reason to smile. Their long-awaited bungalow in Mumbai, valued at nearly ₹250 crore, is finally ready. But this is not just another star home. It holds the memories of many generations. The land originally belonged to Raj Kapoor and Krishna Raj Kapoor, and later went to Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor. Now, the legacy has reached Ranbir and Alia, making the house more about feelings and memories than just owning property.

The mansion stands tall with six floors and mixes modern comfort with a touch of warmth. The walls outside are painted grey, but every balcony spills over with plants, softening the look. Step inside and the grandeur shows, double-height living rooms, glass chandeliers, and spacious decks that open to the city skyline. Hanging gardens and landscaped spaces bring calm to the heart of the busy city. It is luxurious, yet still has a homely charm.

Fittingly, the bungalow is named after Ranbir’s grandmother, Krishna Raj Kapoor. Buzz in the industry is that the property may be registered in the name of their daughter Raha. That adds another layer of sentiment, this home becomes not just a shelter, but also a gift to the youngest member of the Kapoor line. Through the months, Ranbir, Alia, and Raha often dropped by to check the progress, with Neetu Kapoor seen supervising closely. The family is expected to move in soon, with Diwali likely to be their first festival in the new house.

On the work front too, the couple is busy. Ranbir is preparing for Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana, while Alia is stepping into YRF’s spy thriller Alpha. They will also reunite on screen with Vicky Kaushal in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s much-anticipated Love & War. For now, though, it is their new home that has become the talking point everywhere.
