Ranbir aka Ram In 'Ramayana' Caught With Alcohol In His Hand!

Ranbir Kapoor is one of the best actors in this generation and there are no two ways about it. The phenomenal talent has the ability to stun everyone through his performances. His movies like 'Rockstar', 'Animal', 'Sanju' and others are a huge examples of it. He is currently playing the role of lord Ram in Nitesh Tiwari's 'Ramayana'.

It is one of the biggest films made in the country and being a Hindu mythology, there are a lot of sentiments attached to it. There were a lot of complaints when Ranbir was selected to play lord Ram's role. Playing the role of a Hindu god is always going to be risky as people tend to compare your real life with the characteristics of lord Ram. Many said that Ranbir shouldn't play this role as he eats beef and his playboy image before the marriage has also raised many concerns.

Ranbir stated that he quit smoking, drinking and eating non-vegetarian when he decided to play this role but he was spotted with alcohol in his hand while talking to Suhana Khan and Shanaya Kapoor at the pre-wedding celebrations of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. The online trolling has begun instantly as people said, “So, Ranbir Kapoor quitting alcohol for his next project Ramayana was just a PR move.”

Another netizen wrote, “He was also going to be vegetarian… as if. I think he just wants to shake off his 'big beef guy' image.” A user tweeted, “It was cashew juice; articles by his PR are on the way.” Another person on social media sarcastically said, “His PR will say he was drinking tea from a whiskey glass.”

There are people who defend Ranbir Kapoor as well. As we know, Ranbir is Ram while Sai Pallavi is Sita and Yash is Ravana in 'Ramayana'. Ranbir is also doing a film with Sanjay Leela Bhansali according to reports.
