Ranveer Singh Banned by FWICE; Here's What Happened

Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh is currently facing a major controversy related to the upcoming movie Don 3. The issue started after reports claimed that Ranveer decided to leave the film after months of discussions and planning. The movie was announced in 2023 by filmmaker Farhan Akhtar and his production company Excel Entertainment.

When the first promo of Don 3 was released, fans were very excited to see Ranveer Singh taking over the famous Don role after legendary actors Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan. However, after the announcement, there were no big updates about the movie for a long time. Slowly, rumours started spreading that Ranveer was not happy with the delays and script changes.

Reports later claimed that Ranveer Singh officially exited the project. It was also said that Excel Entertainment suffered heavy losses because of the delay. According to reports, the makers spent a lot of money on hotel bookings, location visits, overseas travel plans, and arrangements for hundreds of workers connected to the film.

The matter later reached the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE). The organisation reportedly asked Ranveer Singh to attend meetings and explain the situation. However, FWICE claimed that the actor did not appear for discussions even after several reminders.

FWICE advisor Ashoke Pandit said that the federation decided to issue a non-cooperation order against Ranveer Singh. This means many workers and technicians connected to FWICE may not work with him until the issue is solved.

At the same time, Ranveer Singh’s team released a statement saying that the actor respects everyone connected to the Don franchise. The statement also mentioned that Ranveer chose to stay silent because he believes such matters should be handled professionally and respectfully. The controversy has now become one of the biggest discussions in Bollywood.
