Rao Bahadur Gets a Big OTT Deal Before Release

The upcoming Telugu movie Rao Bahadur is creating good buzz before its release. The film stars Satya Dev in the lead role and is directed by Venkatesh Maha. The movie is set to hit theaters on July 3, and the makers are actively promoting it.

Even before the release, the film has achieved an important milestone. The OTT rights of Rao Bahadur have been sold to Netflix for a good price. According to industry reports, Netflix has paid around Rs. 7 crore for the streaming rights of the movie.

There is also an interesting agreement between the makers and the OTT platform. If the film performs well at the box office and becomes a hit, Netflix may pay an additional amount based on its theatrical success. Because of this deal, the total OTT value could reach nearly Rs. 10 crore or even more.

This is considered a very good amount in the current market. The OTT business is not as strong as it was a few years ago. Many platforms have become careful about buying digital rights, and several films are getting lower offers. In such a situation, Rao Bahadur securing a deal worth up to Rs. 10 crore is seen as a positive achievement.

Meanwhile, the makers recently released the second song from the film, titled Desa Sanchari. The song has a vintage style and takes viewers back to the feel of old pub and cabaret songs from the 1970s and 1980s. Composer Smaran Sai created a catchy tune, while singers Hemachandra and Priyanka Gajanan added energy with their vocals.

The song features Satya Dev and actress Heidy Carola. Their dance moves, chemistry, and screen presence have received a positive response from audiences. The retro visuals and colorful setting have also become talking points on social media.

Backed by GMB Entertainment along with A+S Movies and SriChakraas Entertainments, Rao Bahadur is generating strong interest and the film is expected to have a good start when it arrives in theaters next month.
