Rashmika Mandanna About Telangana Slang and Language Criticism

Actress Rashmika Mandanna has spoken about the different languages and accents she has used during her acting career. The actress said that she does not see language as a major barrier because she has always tried to accept different languages as her own.

Rashmika was recently asked about the criticism she receives for her accent and the way she speaks different languages. While talking about Telangana slang, she appeared relaxed about the issue and said that the main thing is whether people can understand what she is saying.

Rashmika said, explaining that she does not worry too much about the difference between various Telugu slangs.

The actress also spoke about her own background. Rashmika is a Kodava and her mother tongue is Kodava Takk. Since there is no major film industry that works in her mother tongue, she has been comfortable working in different languages.

According to Rashmika, her journey into different film industries also happened naturally. Her fans encouraged her to try Telugu films, and later she entered Hindi cinema as well. Over the years, she has worked in Kannada, Telugu, Tamil and Hindi films.

Rashmika said that she may not be perfect in every language, but she tries to communicate with audiences in their language. She believes that making an effort to understand and connect with viewers is more important.

The actress also described herself as a “jack of all trades” while talking about her language journey. She said that she has become used to hearing different opinions about her accent and pronunciation.

However, Rashmika does not want such criticism to affect her work. She believes that an actor's main responsibility is to perform the role well and help create a good story.

She said that she prefers to concentrate on her performance rather than unnecessary discussions about her accent. For Rashmika, every film is a team effort, and she wants to contribute her best to every project.
