After a travel YouTuber shared a video from the Udaipur Lake Palace, showcasing the arrangements being made inside the palace, and saying that these are preparations for Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Devarakonda’s wedding that will take place in two days, it went viral. It was widely believed that the Tollywood’s star couple is tying the knot on Feb 2nd, 2026.

Now that February 2nd is gone and Rashmika downplayed the date, many are wondering what is happening. Earlier, both Rashmika and Vijay got engaged, though no single picture of it came out, but their PR teams actually confirmed the news. Since then, everyone is looking forward to their marriage date, and now that Feb 2nd didn’t turn out to be the expected date, what’s next?

Some are saying that Feb 2nd is ‘Padyami’ Tithi as per the Hindu calendar, and a good date, but after one misses that out, they have to wait till Amavasya to get married. That brings the date February 26th into the spotlight, suggesting that the couple is getting married on that day.

However, even at the Udaipur Palace, the preparations will not be made almost 20 days ahead of the wedding. So we have to see if Rashmika and Vijay will give clarity on the date.
