Incidentally Rashmika Mandanna, who is currently taking part in a global event stated that she absolutely hates smoking and never wishes to do such a role on the big screen. She pointed out that she is ready to lose characters in films if they demand her to smoke cigarettes.

“I have strong principles, and I am ready to lose on roles and films if they require me to smoke on screen. I follow very strict policy against smoking, and I am completely against this antisocial culture, even in films.” Rashmika stated.

However, there have been social media trolls on Rashmika after this statement as a few people shared a picture from earlier days of Rashmika smoking, perhaps for a shoot.

But the essential point that must be noted, here is that Rashmika has advised the right thing to do for the society as she firmly stood against smoking. Her message and intention are very pure and genuine here, and this is what needs to be taken in the first place.

It is good that an actress is coming out and speaking openly against smoking, and instead of appreciating her for the gesture trolling her using some old clipping is not the right thing to do. It is her honest intention and thought, which are to be appreciated rather than the social media side of things.
