No matter how big the social media is, cinema is always one of the most important mediums that can be used to influence people. During every elections, we see politically loaded films hitting the screens one after the other in order to influence the viewers. Political parties fund the filmmakers in order to make movies that are filled with their own ideology. It is not guaranteed that everything they show is true in these movies. But we have seen a few films heavily influencing the public before elections. There are also a few flicks that failed so badly and 'NTR' is a big example of it.

As we are aware, that film was produced by TDP MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna who also acted as the lead. People looked at it like a propaganda film and rejected it despite being a decent venture. One or two films were made on Prime Minister Narendra Modi as well but they went unnoticed and did not have an effect on the elections as well.

Now, another movie which is heavily backed by the right-wing parties is on its way. To celebrate 100 years of the journey of RSS (Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh), a prestigious project is about to arrive and it is titled 'One Nation'. As BJP is a brand of RSS, it can be said that we will be having a lot of political commentary in the movie. What grabbed everyone's attention is that six national award winning directors have joined forces for this film.

Legendary Malayalam director Priyadarshan, 'Kashmir Files' fame Vivek Agnihotri, Dr Chandra Prakash Dwivedi, John Matthew Matthan, Manju Borah and Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan are going to direct this movie. We don't know if they are going to divide the film into six chapters or jointly handle the movie but we need to see how this propaganda film influences the public before the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
