Star Actress To Play Key Role in Modi Biopic

Raveena Tandon has made her mark both in Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon is all set to play an important role in the upcoming biopic titled Maa Vande. The film is a big-budget, pan-India effort that aims to tell the story of Narendra Modi. The lead role of PM Modi is being portrayed by Malayalam actor Unni Mukundan.

The makers say the film will explore the man behind the statesman his roots, his challenges and how he rose to lead the nation. Unni Mukundan, who plays the part of PM Modi, expressed that stepping into such a role is “overwhelming yet deeply inspiring”.

Maa Vande will reportedly be released in multiple Indian languages, reflecting its pan-India ambition. The film is being produced by Silver Cast Creations and directed by Kranthi Kumar CH.
