Will Tollywood Keep Its Word To Ravi Teja?
Due to the heavy competition, the Telugu film industry bigwigs have convinced the team of 'Eagle' to postpone their release.
By: Tupaki Desk | 6 Jan 2024 7:54 AM GMTDue to the heavy competition, the Telugu film industry bigwigs have convinced the team of 'Eagle' to postpone their release. The team agreed after getting a promise from the film fraternity that they would get a solo release date. But there are doubts regarding the newly announced release date. 'Eagle' will be coming out on 9th February and 'Tillu Square' which was supposed to release on 8th Feb was postponed due to this agreement already.
But 'Ooru Peru Bhairavakonda' is releasing on 9th February. They are yet to change their release date and Anil Sunkara is yet to be contacted. On the other hand, 'Yatra 2' makers are not interested in changing the release date as postponement may lead to its purpose getting diluted. Though these two films are small ones compared to 'Eagle', they will definitely occupy a bunch of theatres as they have distribution back up. Sankranti releases like 'Guntur Karam', 'Naa Saami Ranga', 'Hanu Man' and 'Saindhav' will have a month of the theatrical run if they get a positive response. If they are doing good, a few distributors may not be able to give the screens to a new film.
When you select a slot for release, the other producers should also be contacted. We need to see if the other makers give room for 'Eagle' as back out on February 9th or not. Ravi Teja is currently busy with the works of 'Mr Bachchan' and it is a remake of the Hindi film 'Raid' which came in 2018. Bhagya Sri is the heroine in this movie and Harish Shankar is directing it. 'Eagle' promotions will be done in February again and let us see what happens by then.
