Regina Opens Up About Her Casting Couch Experience!

It has been a while since we saw Regina Cassandra on the Telugu screen. Barring the item song she did in 'Acharya', her last film in Telugu was 'Yevaru' which came out long back. She played a negative character in it. After a long time, she did 'Saakini Daakini' along with Nivetha Thomas which did not perform well and got a bad talk.

She failed to establish herself in her home state Tamil Nadu too and she is currently focusing on acting in web series. Most of her recent work has been on OTT platforms and during an interview, the lovely lady talked about her casting couch experience. Regina was introduced as a heroine at the age of 17 and claimed that she had bad experiences from a lot of people.

She said, "At the beginning of my career, I contacted a few people for chances. One person called me and offered me a role if I could be okay for adjustment. This happened 10 years back and it was just 20 years old back then. I wasn't aware of what he was referring to and was unable to understand what adjustment means. I thought it was about remuneration which is why I said that my manager will be speaking to him."

Regina reportedly understood what he meant after talking to her manager. She never faced such an experience again but other heroines face these situations quite often. Regina claims that some of these claims are true while some are false as people tend to do it for fame. She says only they know what the truth is. Regina is currently acting in a couple of web series.
