Bollywood these days is churning out films that will have a hero who is married to someone, and then starts romancing someone else, and someone else. This Kapil Sharma kind of movie theme has now entered the mainstream stars, too. Like how OTTs copy each other and come up with projects that deal with similar types of content, like the same police crime that we have seen on Amazon and Netflix together, even heroes are following this particular theme in the same pattern.

Varun Dhawan’s next with Pooja Hegde and Mrunal Thakur is made up of the same theme, and it is titled Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai. The film hits cinemas on June 5, 2026. At the same time, Ayushman Khurrana’s next Pati Patni Aur Woh Do, with Sara Ali Khan, Wamiqa Gabbi, and Rakul Preet, caters to the same theme and is targeting a May 15th release. Except for the gorgeous pictures of these said heroines going viral on Instagram and other social media pages after the song release and media events, these films are not even getting attention.

One guy marrying or dating multiple girls at the same time used to be a once-in-a-blue-moon love story back then, but never a film starring big and happening heroes. Now that many big heroes are also doing it, people are wondering who is watching this type of content these days. Looks like some heroes have simply lost their minds. Even the audience is questioning why Bollywood, which lectures India about feminism, patriarchy, and other stuff, is churning out this crap?
