Renu Desai always has a special place in Telugu audiences' hearts. Recently she shared an interesting memory during a podcast. She recalled how she carefully selected costumes for Pawan Kalyan and how much importance was given to his looks in the film.

Renu Desai has revealed an interesting detail about the costumes designed for Pawan Kalyan's film Balu. It is a known fact that Balu Pant was so popular at that time. Talking about the same, she said that single pant used for the actor in the film cost around Rs. 75,000.

The pant reportedly had a connection to the Second World War period. Renu explained that it was a special piece and not an ordinary costume that could be easily purchased.

She also revealed that she had suggested another option to the producer. Renu said that instead of buying around 10 pants for Rs. 5,000 each, they spend an additional Rs. 25,000 to get the special pant that costs 75k as she felt unique costume was important for the film's look.

Renu Desai is known for her work as a costume designer in Pawan Kalyan's films Balu and Gudumba Shankar. The costumes in both films became popular among fans, especially because of the actor's stylish appearance.

In the same podcast, she also recalled a London shopping incident involving Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar. While Renu was shopping for Pawan Kalyan, Karan Johar was reportedly selecting clothes for Shah Rukh Khan. She said she used to buy costumes for Pawan Kalyan in that famous London shopping mall.
