The trailer of the upcoming Telugu movie Champion has created strong excitement among movie lovers. The film stars Roshan Meka in the lead role and is directed by Pradeep Advaitham. Backed by the famous Vyjayanthi Movies banner, the movie is scheduled for a pan-India release on December 25. From the moment the trailer was released, expectations around the film have gone up sharply.

Champion is a period sports drama set in the pre-Independence era. The story takes place around 1938–1948, during the Nizam rule in Hyderabad State. The trailer clearly shows that the movie focuses on football and the struggles of people living under oppression. It tells the inspiring journey of a young man who rises from difficult circumstances and becomes a football champion. The background of Byrampally village adds more weight to the story.

Roshan Meka’s performance in the trailer has impressed many. His body language, dialogue delivery in the Telangana dialect, and expressions look natural and powerful. Actress Anaswara Rajan plays the female lead, and her chemistry with Roshan feels fresh and realistic. Senior actors like Naresh, Kovai Sarala, Kalyan Chakravarthy, Vennela Kishore, and Eshwari Rao are seen in important roles.

Music is composed by Mickey J Meyer, and it stands out as one of the film’s biggest highlights. Both the songs and the background score add strong emotion to the visuals. The production design, costumes, and visuals recreate the old-time setting in a convincing way. The action scenes look well-planned and are said to be made at an international level.

The trailer launch event became more special when Ram Charan attended as the chief guest. He praised Roshan Meka’s performance and said that Champion could be a turning point in his career, just like Magadheera was for him. Producer Ashwini Dutt also expressed confidence that the film will bring great recognition to Roshan.
