Ruhani Sharma Disheartened At People Judging Her For 'Agra'!

North beauty Ruhani Sharma made her mark in Tollywood right with her debut film 'Chi La Sow'. Her girl-next-door looks and praise-worthy performance in that film brought her a lot of fame. Though she did not become a star heroine in Telugu or Hindi, she kept herself busy with interesting projects over the years like 'HIT', 'Dirty Hari', 'Kamala', 'Meet Cute', 'HER', 'Saindhav' and more.

While she took a bold route for a critically acclaimed movie titled 'Agra', the movie won accolades at Cannes, Jio MAMI, 28th Busan International Film Festival and IFF Melbourne. The trailer itself shocked many but the movie got leaked recently and it went instantly viral. Her intimate scenes raised a lot of eyebrows and people started passing uncomfortable comments via social media already.

Disheartened by this, Ruhani took to social media and penned a note saying, “Hey Everyone! I've been holding back, but I need to address something that's been weighing heavily on me since my film Agra was leaked. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. It's heartbreaking to see our months of hard work, dedication, and passion being disregarded in this way. Creating an art film is an intense journey filled with countless challenges, sleepless nights, and unwavering commitment.”

The film has been internationally acclaimed, winning several awards and receiving recognition for the very thing we strive for: pushing the boundaries of world cinema.”

Ruhani claimed that she stands by her choices and is incredibly proud of the film along with the entire team that made it happen.
