Rukmini Vasanth Bags Dream Role In Kollywood

Rukmini Vasanth, the Kannada actress who caught attention with Saptha Sagaralu Dati, is now stepping into Kollywood with some solid offers. She began her journey with Birbal Trilogy in 2019 and later appeared in the Hindi film Upstarts. But it was Saptha Sagaralu Dati that brought her real recognition, winning awards and giving her a strong push forward.

After that, she acted in the film’s sequel and got a major role in Bhairathi Ranangal opposite Shivarajkumar. From there, she moved to Telugu cinema, working with Nikhil Siddharth in Appudo Ippudo Eppudo. Soon, she was noticed by the Tamil industry. She got a role in Madarasi, directed by AR Murugadoss, opposite Sivakarthikeyan.

While Madarasi is still in the making, she acted in Ace with Vijay Sethupathi, which was released in the meantime and received a mixed response. Now, Rukmini has landed two big films one in Telugu with Jr. NTR, and another in Tamil opposite Vikram. The Vikram film will be his 64th and is directed by 96 fame Prem Kumar.

The film is produced by Aisari Ganesh under Wales Film International. The rest of the cast and crew are being finalized, and the movie will begin shooting soon. Official announcements are expected shortly. With these projects, Rukmini is clearly becoming one of the most talked-about new faces in South Indian cinema.
