Rukmini Set to Star in Prabhas' Spirit?

Word is going around that Rukmini Vasanth might be stepping into Spirit, the cop drama directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga and led by Superstar Prabhas. This comes after Deepika Padukone reportedly left the project over payment issues. There's been no official confirmation yet, but the talk has picked up fast.

Spirit has Prabhas playing a sharp and angry cop who goes head-to-head with a drug mafia. With Vanga behind the camera, the film is expected to lean heavy on intense drama and action. The makers are looking at a 2026 release, and for now, all eyes are on who will officially join the cast.

Rukmini, if she’s finalised, could see a big shift in her career. She’s already got Jr. NTR and Prashanth Neel movie and Ace with Vijay Sethupathi and Madharasi with Sivakarthikeyan on her plate. Sharing screen space with Prabhas in a high-profile project would definitely push her into a larger spotlight.

Prabhas, on the other hand, is juggling multiple projects. He’s got The Raja Saab, a horror comedy with a romantic twist, and his period film PrabhasHanu (Fauji) also in the works.
