Hero Takes Risk With Buyers: But Pays Off..

Back in the day, there was this tradition of makers, screening, their films for region wise distributors in order to propel them to pay significant prices for their film. This was devised to create a positive perception for their film before the release, and generate significant revenues, even before the film releases. However, with the time this tradition was put to an end.

Incidentally, this phenomenal was revived again in Tamil cinema by Adi PinniShetty. he has recreated this trend for his upcoming film Sabdham which is releasing on February 28.

Sabdham is a paranormal horror film with an investigative plot and it is preparing for release soon. However, prior to the release, the makers have come up with this brave and thoughtful plan of arranging premiere for distributors. Reportedly the film was screened for selected distributors in Tamil Nadu recently.

On this occasion, Adi, who came to Hyderabad yesterday to promote the film revealed that he usually gets calls from distributors after the release of a film, but this time it happened even before the release. The talented actor revealed that distributors are super happy with the kind of content the film had.

This is a clear display of confidence from the makers as they have taken the risky path of screening the film to the distributor, even before the release, which does not happen, usually these days.

The film is produced by 7G Films Siva and he certainly took a brave call with the distributors screening. The film is now being released by N Cinemas in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
