Suriya’s Latest Song: Young Composer On Duty!

Young composer Sai Abhyankar is slowly moving up on the charts as he comes up with a fresh song each time. After amazing the audience with films like Dude, and then the background song for Allu Arjun’s upcoming film, he has now come up with the new song for Suriya’s long pending film “Karuppu” which is being directed by RJ Balaji. Here is how it goes.

Apparently, the lyrical Video song of "Karuppa Kooda Va" from the Karuppu isn’t something that will hit hard on the first listen. However, as we keep listening to that multiple times, the magic of composer Sai Abhyankar unfolds quite interestingly. The sounding, the orchestration, the mass beats, and the overall ‘godly’ feel to the song are stunning for sure, from Sai Abhyankar. Though it sometimes reminds of the Kantara movie music, it has native Tamil punch big time. While the film is said to be a rural-fantasy commercial film in the lines of Kantara, RJ Balaji is known for delivering very good social satires too, through his movies. Definitely, the compositions of Sai Abhbyankar match that thought process.

However, Telugu big stars are yet to sign Sai Abhyankar, because they still have doubts about the youngster’s mass composition talents. Allu Arjun made the first move by bringing him in for “Raaka”. However, either he’s too costly for other filmmakers and star heroes, or he is not being approached because he doesn’t have a big commercial hit to his name in the likes of Anirudh and Thaman yet. If Suriya’s Karuppu clicks, then things will be changing in a big way for the youngster.
