The event, held on Saturday in Hyderabad brought together some of the biggest stars in the South Indian film industry, including Nani, Adivi Sesh, Sudheer Babu, Sundeep Kishan, Malavika Mohanan, Teja Sajja, Anil Ravipudi, Naga Vamsi, Pragya Jaiswal, Raashii Khanna, Manchu Lakshmi, Bhagyashri Borse, Aditi Rao Hydari, Siddharth, and Chinmayi Sripaada.
When music director Devi Sri Prasad announced Tej as the winner of the Most Desirable (Male) title, the actor invited his parents, Vijaya Durga and Dr. Siva Prasad, to join him on stage. In front of an applauding audience, Tej dedicated the award to his mother. “When I thought everything was lost, my mother stood by me and gave me courage. She boosted my confidence and brought me back to normalcy,” he said, recalling her unwavering support during his recovery from a life-threatening accident.
Speaking to the media before the ceremony, Tej outlined his approach to style, stressing the importance of comfort, ease, and peace of mind as three style mantras. He named Ram Charan and Pawan Kalyan as his style icons, with Ram Charan’s look in Orange being his all-time favourite.
On the professional front, Tej is set to appear next in Sambarala Yeti Gattu, an action drama directed by Rohith KP and co-starring Aishwarya Lekshmi. The big-budget film is slated for a pan-India release in late 2025, promising to showcase Tej in a powerful and intense role.
