Saif Ali Khan Discharged from Hospital

Saif Ali Khan was discharged from Lilavati Hospital on January 21, 2025. He had been hospitalized after being stabbed multiple times during a robbery attempt at his home in Bandra. Saif underwent surgery after the incident. His wife Kareena Kapoor Khan was at the hospital to accompany him during his discharge.

Earlier, reports had suggested that Saif’s discharge papers were submitted on the night of January 20, 2025 after he showed signs of recovery. Kareena arrived at the hospital with security and police for support as her husband prepared to leave. Doctors have confirmed that Saif's condition is stable, and he is expected to recover with proper rest.

The surgery Saif underwent was necessary to prevent spinal fluid leakage and remove a piece of a knife lodged in his back. A photo of the 3-inch-long knife fragment was released by the hospital.

On January 16, 2025, Saif was stabbed six times by a burglar during an attempted robbery at his home. The attacker first attacked the house help and then stabbed Saif when he tried to stop the intruder. Two of the stab wounds were near Saif’s spine, making them more serious. The police later arrested the attacker identified as Mohammed Shehzad in Thane. He was a former national-level wrestling champion from Bangladesh and had entered India illegally.

Saif's condition continues to improve, and he has been advised to take rest to ensure a full recovery.
