Will This Makeover Work For HIT Director?

After his debut film HIT worked out well, director Sailesh Kolanu became a well-discussed name. And then HIT 2 and 3 also worked, but in the middle, his Saindhav happens to be the biggest disaster ever, with lots of influences from movies like KGF and Salaar, not even working. Despite delivering HIT 3, somehow the director hasn’t got any big offer, and he has settled with a relatively new hero. Here goes the twist.

Rather than picking up another crime thriller or a cop drama, Sailesh Kolanu has completely changed the genre this time and is coming up with a love story titled Emo Emo Idhi. The film features senior hero Srikanth’s son Roshan Meka and young sensation Preity Mukundan in the leads. The fact is that none of the love stories in Sailesh’s filmography so far have worked out. Now that he’s coming up with a full-fledged love story, many are wondering if the image-makeover decision will work out.

On the other hand, even Roshan hasn’t delivered any solid film after his debut with Pellisandadi and scoring another dud with the Champion movie. He wants a solid break and to land in Tollywood, and if this love story works, even he would get the right momentum as a leading man. The film Emo Emo Idhi, produced by Sithara Entertainment, is hitting cinemas on October 30th.
