Back in December 2023, Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire hit theatres like a storm. Now, two years later, it's still making waves—this time on smartphones. According to Nielsen's Mobile Audience Measurement report, Salaar Ceasefire was the most-watched film on mobile platforms in India for March 2025.

Streaming on JioHotstar, the Prabhas-led action drama led the pack, showing how audiences are still hooked on high-octane regional films. Alongside it, Netflix’s Dragon also grabbed attention, proving that the hunger for diverse, multilingual content continues to grow.

JioHotstar didn’t just score with Salaar. It dominated the overall chart, securing top spots across both movies and web series. The platform’s stronghold is a sign of how localised content with mass appeal is ruling India’s digital space.

Up next, Prabhas has a packed slate. Fans are eagerly waiting for Salaar: Part 2 – Shouryaanga Parvam, which promises to take the story forward with more intensity. He also stars in The Raja Saab, a romantic fantasy, and Spirit, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. With these varied roles, Prabhas is clearly aiming to cover all bases, from mass action to emotional depth.
