Massive pool set for Salaar 2 turn heads

The Kannada-origin action film 'Salaar' hit theatres on December 22, 2023. Directed by Prashanth Neel, its first installment, 'Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire', raked in over Rs 700 crore at the box office. Starring Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran, and Shruti Haasan, the movie garnered widespread acclaim.

News has surfaced that director Prashanth Neel has already wrapped up 75% of the filming for the sequel. Meanwhile, there's I Intersting buzz surrounding 'Salaar 2', with reports suggesting a significant emphasis on action sequences. A massive swimming pool set is being constructed for the upcoming shoot, complete with artificial waves to enhance the visual appeal.

Prasanth Neel's team is said to tirelessly preparing to execute breathtaking action scenes against the backdrop of the sea. Titled 'Shauryanga Parvam', the sequel is poised to captivate audiences. Producer Vijay Kiragandur has revealed plans to commence filming in April, with a slated release in 2025, likening the movie's scale to that of 'Game of Thrones'.

Meanwhile, Prabhas is gearing up for the release of 'Kalki AD 2898', currently in post-production. The mythological science fiction, also starring Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani, is scheduled for a May release. Additionally, Prabhas has projects like 'Spirit' with Sandeep Vanga Reddy and 'The Raja Saab' with Maruthi in the pipeline.
