Is 'Salaar 2' Shelved By Neel & Prabhas?

After five years of flops, Prabhas scored a super hit with 'Salaar Part 1'. Directed by Prasanth Neel, this action saga made the fans super happy. But the lack of huge promotions and competition with 'Dunki' stopped the movie from getting over the 1000 crore mark. Nonetheless, it amassed over 725 crores at the box office. Hombale Films produced this film and it arrived amidst massive expectations. Fans said that 'Salaar' is the best film from Prabhas after 'Baahubali'.

The director left the story midway in order to complete it in the second part titled 'Salaar 2: Shouryangaparvam'. The script work is still going on and fans are eagerly waiting for the movie to go on floors. Rumours have now begun that this project might never take off. Apparently, the creative differences between Prabhas and Prasanth Neel is the main reason for it. Also, Prabhas is busy with movies like 'Kalki', 'Raja Saab' and 'Spirit' right now. On the other hand, Neel has announced working with NTR from August.

Mythri Movie Makers are producing this film and insiders say that 'Salaar 2' is not fitting in the diary of both the hero and the director. The news of 'Salaar 2' getting shelved completely is going viral and the logic behind it is also looking convincing for many. We need to wait and see what happens.

Prithviraj Sukumaran played the role of Varadharaja Mannar while Prabhas was seen as Devaratha. Shruti Hassan is the heroine who listens to the entire flashback while Jagapathi Babu is seen as the father of Prithviraj and Shriya Reddy played the role of Radha Rama. Hombale Films banner produced this flick. Eeswari Rao played the role of Prabhas' mother in this pan-Indian movie. Ravi Basrur is the music composer while Bhuvan Gowda is the director of photography.
